Wow, this was a heck of a day...we spent all this week preparing everything...and then forgot to pay the 100 dollar fee for the Visa...go figure. We did no realize until we had already went into the embassy, lucky enough they allowed me to leave and pay...Anyway, after throught the haggle, she is called to the window...so we both go, the lady nicely ask me to have a seat and if she needs anything that she will ask for me. Wow, so anyway my SO is asked a ton of questions about how she met me, my kids, my wife, the amount of money I pay in child support...the consulate was pretty thorough with my life, however my SO answered everyone right away and she finished up. I got called to the window, where I was asked questions about her...know this is the part of the interview that I had not read...anyway, I passed this and we are expecting the Visa by next Friday so that we can get on a plane and come back to the US...

It was a pretty unusual experience for me, I think they wanted to be sure due to our large age difference, as they kept pointing that out to me and her. But thank God we passed. Thanks to everyone else that prayed for us, we needed it for sure.

God is good, Amen? yes.gif Anyway, words cannot express how utterly thrilled I am for you two ! Reading about your approval and Paula and Minya's approval is like getting a double dose of happiness this morning. I know you were a bundle of nerves, but now that dreaded step is over and you can put all that behind you.
