Yes. I love spaghetti squash. My mom used to slow bake it and serve it with a creamy alfredo sauce. Thanks for reminding me. I'm putting together a menu of the things my mom has to cook for us when we get home. Things that I want my husband to taste and especially sweets and cakes that we just don't have here in Egypt.

Cut spaghetti squash in half and scoop out seeds

Put half, cut side down in a microwave safe bowl filled with 1/4 water and cover with saran wrap

microwave for 20 minutes

take out the "spaghetti" from the shell and put in bowl. add olive oil, salt, freshly cracked black pepper and a good 1/3 cup romano cheese and mange!!

but there's no screen names to associate the faces with though.

ok.. what I do with my spagetti squash is.. cut in half.. scoop seeds.. and stab it alittle (like you would a potato)and I bake it slowly in a brownie pan with a inch of water in it... In the scooped out part I put a TBSP of marg/ butter and a leaf or 2 of fresh sage.. I lightly cover everything with a aluminum foil for most of the time - towards the end bake with out it... I guess I bake at 350?

then after its done... fork the squash apart.. adding alittle more marg./ butter. voila!
