It's Teddy's big day at the Embassy tomorrow -- go out there and bring us back a big red APPROVED! Best of luck to you. good.gif Also, looks like the weather is supposed to be halfway decent, so you (hopefully) won't be dodging raindrops while you wait to get inside.

Truth be told,

My interview was actually on the 3rd! I put the date in wrong on the timeline and just forgot about changing it, sorry!

It went from ok to bad, Got to London at 6.30, embassy area at 7am, had breakfast and sat in the park.

I started queing at 9am for my 10.30 appointment (next to Pierce Brosnan), got in to the embassy at 10.10, and had my first interview thingy at about 11.15. That went ok. I had to wait untill 2pm for my 2nd one and TOTALLY mushmouthed it, I had a total anxiety/panic brain freeze and believe i got a few questions wrong.

HOWEVER, I think due to the sheer amount of evidence we supplied and the fact I must of looked ill, the CO must have thought i was freaking out (which i was) and gave me the benefit of the doubt. I didnt know at the time if i got the visa, but i believe they tried delivering it (well, SOMETHING from the US embassy) today to work (they said 5 working days to me and im on a 1/2 day today).

Thanks for all the best wishes!

Teddy

Oh Teddy, glad you got it in the end! Congrats!!! kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif

Poor you, all that waiting must have contributed to your nerves. But what a top star spot -- Pierce Brosnan! good.gif

Yeah, I heard most people said it took a "couple of hours", I was more like 5 1/2 for me, my brain was toast! I got up at 2.15am to get the bus from bristol to London so it REALLY had been a long day.

Congratulations kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif

Maybe you can blame your "performance" on Pierce Brosnan?! In any event, you obviously weren't as bad as you thought.

Another APPROVED!!
Dan&Tiffany
Hahaha, this really did make me giggle. I would be just as scrambled if I was the one going to the interview!! Congrats on getting it done in the end!

Congrats, Teddy! Wonderful news. Now you can RELAX a bit! wink.gif biggrin.gif

Absolutely straight up.

He was asking at the "exit" gate some questions, perhaps if he could skip queing with his regular folks, but they advised him to queue straight at the back of the "security" queue. I was at the front of the "10.30" queue so he was about 6 foot away from me with his wife. He had a US passport, I **THINK** she had an Irish one.

It was surreal, if i wasnt in a absolute anxiety/ tired mode, I would have thought to say "No Mr. bond, I expect you to queue!"

Or you could have said something like "Wasn't Daniel Craig good in Casino Royale?".

I liked Pierce, he was a good Bond let down by the franchise getting progresively sillier and sillier untill Casino Royale.

Yup, he actually wasn't a bad Bond, but he would have been totally wrong for Casino Royale, far too crusty and I bet he wouldn't have looked as tasty coming out of the ocean in a pair of blue shorts. Not that I'm obsessed or anything. blush.gif

He is said to be 5'11 according to the IMDB. Anyway, as my Essex girl buddy used to say to me "we're all the same height laying down!". ohmy.gif

Danial Craig also has my birthday. Although technically it's me having his birthday as he's older than me. Am I babbling? I think so... tongue.gif

I think IMDB lies - it also claims the governator is 6'1 - he is no taller than me and I'm 5'7. Either that, or men use a different ruler when measuring height.

Possibly. Altho Dolph Lundgren is most definitely 6'5" of hotness whistling.gif - was he ever in an Arnold movie (to compare)?

imdb doens't list Dolph in that?

Dolph & Rocky - it says Sly is 5'10" so that makes sense. I'm 5'3" & Dolph is certainly 6'4" +. Apparently his brother is 6'8". Damn they make 'em tall in Sweden.

imdb lists Arnold as 6'2"!
