Help!

The USCIS sent me a notice (I-797) on May 30th saying that my I-129F had been "approved" and sent onto the NVC. Four weeks later, the NVC automated phone system tells me that they have no record of my receipt/case number!!

I feel like I should have gotten on them earlier about this (we haven't heard any word in about a month).

Any thoughts?

Its likely already at the embassy. You need to talk to an operator at the NVC, K-1's don't get into the automated system.

Oh really!? You think the embassy might already have it? But the NVC never sent me an approval notice... And the (Norwegian) embassy hasn't returned my fiancés nor my email inquiries. Hmmmmm. Odd indeed.

I hope the embassy DOES have it.... I would have expected some notice from the NVC. Did you get any notice, or did it go straight to the embaassy? Thanks much for your response. : )

How crazy!!! I JUST NOW got an email from the Norwegian embassy saying that they have received the file. Crazy timing!
