I sent my I-129F back in March 19, 2007 and when I received the NOA1 in the mail (April 14, 2007), the RECEIVED DATE is April 6, 2007 and the NOTICED DATE is April 12, 2007. So is April 12 my NOA1 date?
Ok let us all post our NOA1 dates here and keep ourselves posted once you have your NOA2. I really do hope and looking forward to atleast have some NOA2s by this Independence Day week. July 8 was the given estimated date this site has given me that my petition will be adjudicated, but it is just an estimate but I do hope I'll have my NOA2 before or on that day. All of us have waited and have gone through so much just for waiting. I wish they can process this faster especially now that they are going to increase the fees by the end of the month. I mean don't you think it is just fair that if they are going to increase the fees, they should atleast make our money's worth by speeding up the process? And for us fellow CITIZENS, don't we should have this previlege to get our special someone as fast as possible? All we want is just that ONE person that lives so close in our hearts. I really want us to be together and the waiting and being far from each other is enough "DUE HARDSHIP" for us. Anyways, I would like to wish all of us good luck that we may have our NOA2s within this week.
God bless guys..and keep us posted with your case.

We are anxious to get our NOA 2 too! Our I-129 F was mailed March 30 and Notice Date is April 9, 2007. Touched June 10 (address change). VJ projects an approval by July 19 but we're hoping for an approval before then. It's getting close! Good luck everyone.

We submitted our application Apr 30, and nothing received yet. When we called they were to 'resend' our notice and that's been well over 5 weeks. Our online status says May 9th, cheque was cashed and thats it. I honestly think their computer glitch is holding things up and/or they're waiting for July 30th - sheesh!

waiting anxiously. Does anyone know...I am currently out of the country, my family is watching the mail, I'm watching the internet. I don't plan on going home until October. Do we have to go on any interview or is it just our fiance until then? I'm worried that being over here so long, I may not be able to do everything. Everything will be mailed/faxed to me ASAP, but in August I am going to Kosovo with my fiance and will have limited access. Hopefully everything will be taken care of, but I don't need to go back to the US for any interviews do I?

It's just so frustrating when you keep on checking USCIS many times a day and you see the same thing every single time.

The only thing that keeps me sane is that I know many April filers here in VJ are still waiting...Wish all of us be lucky soon.
Our I129F was sent March 30th and NOA1 was April 10th. Last updated still April 14th. Currently, waiting....
I'll surely keep in touch with you guys!

Sent in our I-129f on April 2nd and our NOA1 receipt is April 9th. Last touched was April 14th. 86 days waiting so far. I am indeed feeling the pressure of waiting but will not get to insane until after 90-100 days. since that seems to be the average right now. hehe or it seems it's the average. haha
If I go over my estimated date of April 16th or they keep increasing the date I won't call the USCIS to find out what is going on. I will call my states Senator and let him deal with them. hehe. I contacted him back in April to let him know I was filing and he said if they go over their time then to call his immigration department and they will deal with it.
So I do recommend anyone having problems to contact your states Congressman or Senator. You will have to fill out a release of information statement before they will help so it might not hurt to contact them now even if it turns out you won't need them. That way they have your info on file if you do need their services.
Chins up everyone even with this bureaucratic B**LSH*T we will all be untied soon enough. It's all a game. Just do your best to make sure you have the cards stacked in your favor. Anticipate problems and try to be ready when they occur. This process is flawed and unnecessarily long. So pray for the best but be ready for the worst.
Above all remember it will happen eventually and that day will be an immensely joyful day, and all this crap we had to go though will soon be forgotten.

Also, I know I would myself, go though fire and brimstone for my love. I am just thankful all I have to endure is waiting the worlds longest virtual line. I have my sleeping bag my internet connection and plenty of snack foods so I'm ready. hahahah.

My NOA1 is the 20th. I have never received anything on Paper (no I-797) but that list is rather long as well. One year ago, those petitioners who were in this "spot" were just starting to receive their RFE's for IMBRA. The average timeline during the summer and into September of 2006 was well in excess of 130 days and beyond. I guess we could consider ourselves lucky that we are not dealing with that mess, and the switch in June of 2006 where TSC/NSC then moved all of their petitions to CSC.
What we are experiencing is most likely a combination of things. First of all was the H-1B Visa debacle from April 2-4 where the service centers received over 150,000 petitions in less than 48 hours. You can imagine the mailrooms were just overwhelmed and then factor in the number of those petitions that get turned back once they reached the maximum, and so did those who were not selected, they were busy. Then factor in the number of petitions needing processing under the "premium processing fee" which means USCIS had to adjudicate them within 14 days, and the crush was on. I would imagine that many of those petitions had the extra$$ attached to them so they had to be worked. Coporate America is willing to pay the money...despite the fact that many of the H1-B's are abused.
In early May (the first week I think) they were behind on NOA2's and came through with an astounding 46 approvals for VJ members. It was unbelievable and then things slowed some. The other issue was that the notification system(s) and automatic updates seem to be working only sporadically as time has passed. There have been a number of filers without ANY touches or anything to indicate they were being worked, when in fact they ended being approved weeks before. The Petitoners in many of these cases have received just a letter from NVC and were told the petition is going to be forwarded on to their respective Embassy.
The last update I believe was for the CSC to have their act in order by July 13th. The issue of the notifications was addressed by the USCIS within the past 2 weeks, and at least at this point they are admitting that they have a system that is currently "hosed". Hopefully the pace of approvals will begin picking up some over the next few weeks, primarily after the 4th of July holiday week(s) given the 4th falls mid week, and no doubt many people are taking advantage of the mid-week date.
My fiancee and I struggle day to day with this wait as well, but like someone else said, it will come, they have to act on the Petition someday, and this too will pass. In the mean time I am heading back to Kyiv (Kiev) on Sunday for nearly a month. Maybe, just maybe, we'll have our NOA2 by the time I return on August 6th.
Hang in there and good luck everyone.

Count us in as well.
I mailed our I-129F package to TSC on April 2, 2007.
CSC received it on April 5, 2007.
I received the NOA1 on April 14, 2007.
I haven't heard anything since then. No emails, no touches, nothing. My timeline here was showing an adjucation date of July 29, but now it's showing August 4

I'm trying to be patient, but it's hard as I'm sure you all know. It's such a frustrating process to go through - so much paperwork, fees fees and more fees, not being with the ones we love, etc. Argh. I keep trying to remind myself that it took me 20 or so years to find the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with - certainly I should be able to last a few more months. HaHa.
Don't they realize how difficult it is to plan a wedding when you have NO IDEA what day you'll be able to get married????

Add me to the list of people stuck in limbo. But, even if I got the NOA2 this week, I'm so beaten down by the process I wouldn't even bother to celebrate. Montreal makes CSC look like instant approval. Amazing that this is going to probably take us a full year when it used to take only 6 months.

Hi,
Just wanted to make sure if I m correct in my thinking from what I observed on CRIS. For me, the "touch" doesn't seem to generate any email notification. I do get a CRIS email if there is a status update on my case but for last two days, I have had a touch on my I-129F(K3) and I dont think I got any email due to that.
Is that what you guys see too or is there a discrepancy?

Yeah actually your correct. I had just assumed that when I signed of for email notifications that it would send one whenever something happened. But after I posted that I did receive three touches and there where no email notifications from them. However I did get a CRIS email when I changed my password.

We haven't received any touches or anything. I would rather have some touches than none at all. It makes me feel insanely paranoid that they've lost or forgotten our petition. Well, I know it doesn't feel great not being able to visit whenever, but the trade off isn't much better. My fiance is Canadian and I can visit her as time/money permits. My fiance has no way to come here LEGALLY. now time and opportunity he has. I on the other hand work full time in retail management and am saving my vacation days for when we have our WEDDING so that I can take off and play host to his family that will be flying in from Japan. I took three weeks off in April to be with him already anyway.

I'm just hoping that we get our NOA2 soon because the Tokyo Embassy seems VERY speedy so the process should be nice a quick once CSC is done with it.
