Nancy is leaving Hong Kong on her way to the airport to leave.

And Im still stuck on this freaking oil rig, they bumped me off of my helicopter til tomorrow and even then I wont get off in time to catch my flight tomorrow night, so that mean another day of waiting crying.gif

The only thing getting me thru this is we are almost together and scouring thru VJ.

Ramos

p.s. they need to add a crying icon for the "Post Icons"

You're almost there though! Hopefully Nancy can get through Chicago okay and get through to Canada. Hang in there! smile.gif

Hope you had a good flight Nancy, and welcome back! smile.gif

Wondering what they would do going through Chicago....wouldn't she have to go through Toronto's customs and immigration anyway as she's just connecting...hmm I hate Chicago O'hare... mad.gif

Went on a rant there, but it'd only upset Ramos blush.gif
misa
As far as I know, she'd go through Canadian customs and immigration in Toronto as she's incoming to Canada but she'd have to go through U.S. customs and immigration in Chicago even if she's connecting.
Tinker
I just wandered around there, FOR HOURS....DAYS......but I guess it's different just coming to and from Canada. Just had to hit security, after staying OVERNIGHT at hotels.... biggrin.gif

UPDATE UPDATE

Her flight was overbooked so they were going to put her up in a hotel, but then United found her a direct flight to Toronto WOOT!!!
She gets there about the same time as before, but now we dont have to worry about US immigration for the moment. biggrin.gif

Now I just need to get my butt home and get everything ready to drive up to get her, hehehe

Thx for the support all,
Ramos

Eman,

Actually I have a pretty easy job tongue.gif My company makes deepwater oil drilling control systems, these are the actual controls and safety equipment for the exploration vessels when they are first looking for oil. I'm responsible for the networks and computers that run the show, so I get to do the training and troubleshooting at times to get them up and running, most of the time I'm just hanging out waiting to work like Maytag repairman, but when I do work its usually quite serious and there are lots of mad people, luckily I handle stress well or I thought so til I started this VISA process, lol.

To answer your questions no I dont work on the helicopters or fly other than being a passenger, but in the past I did fly planes, I'd like to fly again in the future it was a very fun thing to do, to be above the earth in the skies and going where ever you want to, and as everyone always says the views are awesome.

Sorry for the long explanation.

Sincerely,
Ramos

Darn. I'm almost disappointed we don't get the lowdown on the plane transfer at Chicago. blush.gif My thinking is she was going to end up with an idiot in Chicago so there was an "intervention" from above. laughing.gif

Congratulations Ramos and Nancy!! Not long now!!

Welcome back home. I know what you mean about the $2. When I flew back from my vacation in May all I had was currency from Greece, Egypt, Kuwait and the UAE. Luckily they accept major credit cards so I just ended up using my Mcrd.
