Hello All,

My fiancé and I received notice at the end of May that our I-129F was accepted, and was being forward to the foreign embassy (Norway).

It has been over a month now, and we haven't heard a word from either the NVC or the foreign embassy.

Any thoughts on why this could be? I thought things were supposed to SPEED UP after they left the USCIS.

Have you tried calling NVC? ( 1 603 334 0700 press 1 then press 5 ) Have you E Mailed the Embassy?
Did you try contacting DOS? ( 1 202 663 1225 ).

Thanks for responding. To answer your questions -Yes, yes, and yes. The NVC phoneline is useless - no one ever answers. I've emailed them to no avail - no reponse that way.

AND! Oddly enough, I haven't reeived a response to an email I sent to the Norwegian embassy. Even my fiancé sent them an email. Maybe everyone is bogged down with summer time visas and such?

Who knows. It's hard to simply not hear anything. Ugh.

I have run into similar problems, as well. KEEP TRYING!! Call early in the morning, around 8:30 am, press 1 then 5. Do not give up, cos at some point, someone will answer.
