Hi,

My timeline to turn in I-751 is at beginning of this September for my 2-yrs Green Card will expire in December.

What if I turn in I-751 this month, 2 months earlier? Would USCIS decline it, delay it, process it, etc...?

I have upcoming situation which may prevent me from turning in my application in the 90-days period.

Please advise. Thanks.

They will send it back to you.

Is the upcoming situation the upcoming increase in filing fees starting July 30?

USCIS will just return the I-751 to you and tell you to file during the appropriate filing window, that is within 90 days before the conditional card expires.

You can mail the petition from anywhere, so what will prevent you from filing it during the normal time frame?

I will be moving to a new address in September 1 while my start of the 90-days period is September 12.

I just hope I could turn in the application two weeks earlier (by end of August) to avoid delay in change of address.

Please advise. thanks.

Yes, you can file it any time between the 90 days before expire, and the expiration date, I would just wait to do it after moving, doing it before and then changing address just begs them to loose things.

And like Kez indicated dont forget to file AR-11, and also I-865 for your sponsor (spouse)
