we've been touch four times already, but still we haven't received an email from Chris of our noa2. and when we check online, it still says 'case received and pending'.

i wonder what's going on? is there anyone out there who has the same case with us?

what are the meaning of this 4 touches? could this be that they already approved us but failed to update our status online and failed to email us too? or do you think we will receive the scary word, RFE? shouldn't it be that if there's an RFE we will know it after the first or second touched?

i am getting crazy what is happening to our papers pls..

Touches are terrible because they mean nothing, until they either RFE you and approve you .. and it seems that CSC isn't doing well at getting either of those two external communications out these days ....

I agree, it is very frustrating -- but not nearly as frustrating as AP at NVC was.

Well I would probably sort of disagree that the touches don't mean anything at all. I mean I've waited for 2 months to get approved. Never got a touch. I just got the email saying about the NOA2 but one of my VJ friends got approved shortly after the touches started (I think he waited for about 4 months as well). I mean...Looking at your timeline I saw that it's been dead for 4 months. Now you can see that you're not forgotten Just relax and wait a little more It's coming...you'll see

Have you tryed to call them and ask about the status ? , as you see from my timeline we filed a lil earlier then you , had RFE send and just got aproved ( via e mail , still waiting for the hardcover ) for NOA 2 , but calling them helps

I also have had a touch on the 6/29 and 6/30 maybe they are just backing up computor files over the weekend or maybe we will have good news Monday lets hope for the best

hi guys....We're also waiting for our NOA2 and our petition is still pending online so I guess we have to wait and stay with our faith...I know its very frustrating..I cried so many times missing my GG..but I know sooner we can be together...lets just stay in faith...things will work well,I know its worth it to wait!

Have they fixed the online/e-mail notice system yet? When we got approved, they had a major glitch with the system. I finally called 2 weeks after our last touch (CSC, following the RFE prompts) and found out we had been approved and our petition was at NVC. Had I not called we wouldnt have heard until we got the NVC letter or packet 3!
