Ok if my fiancee is allowed to transit thru Chicago to Toronto on the 3rd of July.
If it happens, I will be driving up there from Houston and spending more or less a week in Canada before we come on across and activate her VISA, we will be crossing I think Windsor to come back into the states. Unless anyone has a better idea.

How many of y'all are close to Arthur, Ontario? We could have a party night and take over a bar or restaurant tongue.gif

Sincerely,
Ramos

Yes it is tongue.gif

Its going to be about 1611 miles one way, I have driven 3 times before from Houston to Sherbrooke near Montreal when I was previously married, that was only about 34 hours.

I have driven twice to Las Vegas that was only 28 hours tongue.gif

I'm a little confused. Is she going to be flying and are you going to be driving?

If she's going to be at the Chicago O'Hare airport, I'll also be there on July 3 for about 50 minutes (as long as I'm allowed into the country). My plane arrives there at about 5:15 PM, and the connecting plane leaves at about 6:05 PM. If your fiancee will be in the airport during that time, I'd love to meet her.

As soon as I get confirmation from her that she they left her transit to Canada I will begin making preparations to drive to Canada the morning of the 4th.

You will just miss her I think, she arrives at 2:40ish into Chicago, I dont know when the connecting flight to Toronto is off hand. When she wakes up I have her read this thread or you could PM her also, her name here is "Nancy and Ramos".

These last few days are torture I tell you and Im still on my lil oil rig in the middle of the ocean here in Brazil, I wanna go home !!

Good Luck!!!

Looks like I'll be arriving just as you're leaving. (I'll be in Oakville and have friends who lived in Arthur so I know where that is.) Good luck crossing at Windsor. That route is pretty boring (as in not very scenic). Plus, I had a bad experience at Windsor once so it doesn't hold any fond memories for me. laughing.gif
