Hello everyone,

I am just curious what is in Packet 4? Also read that someone that applied for Visa in Thailand was denied at interview because they did not have form that showed she (thai national) was not married. They did not know they needed this as she had never been married. They were approved two weeks later upon presentation of this form. Is this form in packet 4 normally? Anyone else have experience with this?

Thanks,

Douglas

All of the Packet 4s are a bit different, I think. I know some countries don't even get a Packet 3 at all. You may try posting this question in the Regional forum. That's where I get most of my country specific info. OR - you can try the embassy forum (but I"d add a tag including you country in the thread title.) GOOD LUCK!!

Hey Douglas,

That may be me that you'r referencing. My fiancee was missing this document at the interview, because it was never listed in the required documents that were listed in PKT 4. From what I understand now, that document is now listed in Pkt 4. Check out the Sawasdee 2 thread, I believe that Aidan posted some *jpgs of the actual documents in pkt 4, inclusive of the request for this document. You can get this document from her local police station...very simple to obtain.

Pack 4 for me was the appointment/invitation to my interview at the consulate.
