Hi there,
hoping someone can help me out. I'm doing DCF in Aus with my USC hubbie and wondering where I need fingerprints from. Do I need them from every country I've ever lived in? I grew up in Australia, studied in New Zealand and am currently working in Britain. Do I need fingerprints from all those countries? Hoping not, because this is expensive enough!
Cheers
Having just started the DCF journey myself, I'm sure someone else can give you a more comprehensive answer, but are you talking about police checks rather than fingerprints? With the DCF submission you need to have a police check for your country of nationality, country of residence and every other country you have lived in for more than six months since the age of 16. (Some of my documentation says 'every other country you have lived in for more than one year,' so if any of your residencies fall between these times, you might want to check this out further.)
It's not too expensive (10 pounds in the UK, I just ordered mine) but fingerprints aren't a part of it to my knowledge?
Good luck on your journey
