I just needed to share this with you guys!! We are taking a "secret" trip to Canada (not telling my family about it, just going to show up at my cousin's 40th birthday) this weekend !!! I'm so excited to touch CDN soil again and to go SHOPPING!! Yipee!!! We're only going as far as Fredericton, so not to my dear Island, but I'll take what I can get!

I'm going to Pizza Delight too and pigging out on Donairs!! Mmmmmmmm

Tim Hortons donuts used to be a lot better but I do like their soups and sandwiches

The best doughnuts I have ever had in my life are from this Chinese Takeout , Burger and Donut shop place here in the US.. they are so soft and yummy

We have a greek pastery shop here and the d'nuts look yummy there too.. i totally FORGOT about the soups!! Mmmmmmmmmmm They do have great soups!! Now I'm excited about Timmy's!!!

I'm going to try to get to a FAB restaurant called Brewbakers as well.. so great in Freddytown!!!

when my hubby would come up to visit we would just stay in Vancouver instead of going back to my town... anywho, we would eat at Tim Hortons's a lot... I liked their meal deals... Drink, sandwich and a soup... or something like that..

I surprised my friends and family with my first visit home after I moved to Canada 5 years ago.. It had been 9 months since I had been there and no one except my mom knew we were coming.. It was so much fun to see everyones reactions when we just showed up on their doorsteps!

Hubby is all "excited' about going to Canada Day celebrations on Sunday.. tee hee.. my bf & I were laughing about it this am saying he's in for a rude awakening!! In Frederiction, they have some sort of "law" passed that for the parade there are no motorized vehicles allowed, no inflatables nata! So he'll really be floored when he sees that!! Plus July 4th is much bigger, much more patriotic, I think hubby is going to be sadly dissapointed

Having a great time at my best friends house!! Got here around 3am in the morning, but I get to see my mother & brother & his family today!! Yippee!!! We are going to Smitty's this am!! YUMMMMY!!!

We are back in CT now But we had a WONDERFUL Canada Day!! Hubby's comment on the celebrations was "it's like a whole bunch of people showed up at the same place at the same time and said.. oh well we're all here, let's party then!".. tee hee.. He's so smart!


We had a great time at home.. so nice to be back, even nicer to realize that no matter how much I love my country, I love being with hubby more My home is with him!

Oh yes, forgot to say POE in and out of Canada was easy easy! They actually gave USC hubby a harder time than I (not a very hard time at all mind you).. a quick peek in our trunk on the US side, and we were on our way! Greencard worked no worries!

Glad it was a good time!!! There are no Canada Day celebrations going on where we live, but they are having some fireworks displays tonight so I have told my hubby that is really for Canada Day, not for the 4th of July
