Anyone know if you can get UK passport application forms from the UK consulate in NYC?

Doesn't seem to be any way of contacting the consular service without paying for a $2.50/minute phone call...

Yu&Dan, there's already a pinned thread about getting UK passports in US.

I know I can download the form - my concern is that (in the UK at least) my dad applied for a passport recently (for a visit he made in October last year) and the UK passport agency basically copied his information from the downloaded version onto a hardcopy of the actual form and returned it to him for signature. I'm looking to avoid that extra step. Easy to get hardcopy passport forms in the UK (via the UK post office) - but not sure where I can acquire them in the US.

I'm wondering if I can get them directly from the NYC consulate - as otherwise I've got to call that premium rate number.
