I read the pinned thread - but there's a couple of things that weren't mentioned.

Does the consulate accept the downloaded form - or do they copy the information you provide to 'genuine' one and send it back to you for signature?

How does the photo thing work with the biometric data collection - they ask for digital photos, but they still accept 'hard copy' submissions?
