I got my NOA1 on 4/12/07 and the check was cashed on 4/20/07. Nothing after that... No updates, no "touches", nada. Fortunately I am going back to Brasil again in August to see her, I cant wait for that! But, my god, this process is painfull!

Funny thing is, I kept telling her before we started our papers as that its a v e r y long and painfull process and it will be difficult. Now, Im the one freaking out! haha

Oh well, I guess I am just venting... wink.gif

Don't worry, that's normal.

I think California is a bit slow these days...sorry for the wait.
We had to wait 72 days for our NOA2 (our case was transferred to CSC from TSC after less than a week).

I am sure you will hear something soon biggrin.gif Good luck

Good luck on your wait, I know it isn't easy but it's worthy. good.gif good.gif

It takes an average of 90-120 days at CSC, so you still have some time left.

Best wishes!

Try to relax...

My visa took 11 months to be issued...

The problem was not even the NOA2, it took about 80 days

The problem was: they lost my papers so NVC never got it and USCIS didnt have it anymore..

So, relax and plan your things, talk to her a lot, everything is gonna be fine...

Welcome to the infinite parking lot that is CSC. Current processing times are 108 days (average), so a bit of waiting yet. It is the worst feeling, though, because you're basically afforded no information on your case.

Same w/ us. No updates, touches, not even a kiss after they cashed our check. Hang in there and good luck.

Ana !! Good to see you are back and done with all that for the next 2 years smile.gif

Thanks for all the encouraging responces!

Well, we are now at 90+ days. So yesterday, I sent a snail mail to my congresswoman. That got me even more fired up, so I called her also. Of course I got some call center flunky type who said she would call me some time this week or next week.

The waiting continues!
