for a K1 visa, do you need to have part 2 of form 230. If so when do they ask for it.........................is it for the interview?

Most consulates substitute DS-156K for the DS-230 Part 2, Either way they may want it for interview.

Dont sign either form, they need to be signed in front of the consular officer.

Just fill it out and bring to the interview, and if they do want it you will have it handy, if not, then you were just prepared.
