I have been waiting for my I-130 and I-129 approval for about 4 months now, and i feel little depressed about the procedure. I got married in early January and i was told that Delhi embassy doesn't do DCF anymore. Now i am hearing that the option is open ... this is sooo UNFAIR. i would have gladly stayed back and my husband would have been here by now. anyhow...what are the DCF delhi requirments as of now... not that they are any use to me... but a friend who got married recently wanted to know. Even though i am happy she has this option..but i think i will have a heartattack if here hubby gets here before mine. Seriously, this immigration process has turned me into a meanny.. i use to be soo nice unsure.gif unsure.gif

had got dont the dcf
the first requirement was to get the frro registeration done ,
every one has his/her own time ,
so no need to get meanny with anyone else .
the requirements for dcf keeps changing every month previouly it was 3 months , sometimes back it was even 6 months so its better the embassy can guide the exact time for dcf now .

It may not be too late for you to do DCF if you are willing to move over there. Last year, the guidelines was 90 days. Just be sure to register with the FRO. Check with the embassy to see what the DCF time guidelines are. But BE SURE to keep your mortgage/rent or other bills here up because you will have to prove domicile in the U.S.

Check into pming people like ManuNSam who did DCF. she was a good source of information for me.

Good luck and keep your head up.

neel06,

I understand your feelings. Dont worry about turning meany. When I was seeing many others being approved who filed after me, I also use to freak out. There were days when I cried so much. It's not you. It's just human nature. I pray for your speedy approval and hope you reunite with your husband very soon.
