we never filed the 129F we got the 130 approval letter is there anyreason to file the 129F now?

I wouldn't, the i-129f will stop the i-130 and put it into storage. at this point the i-130 would probably get you an interview faster seeing as how you could be waiting another 90 days just for the i-129f approval.

If you just recently filed your I-130 you may want to consider filing the I129F also since in most cases the I129F is faster and you also have a second option in case your I130 gets delayed for any reason.

timeline.gif it helps others and also in turn others can help you.

SanfordnBonnie and Lance27. Neither of your answers applies to the OP's question. The I-130 is already approved. While there is no good reason to file the I-129F now that the I-130 is already approved, doing so will not stop the I-130. It is no longer in the hands of the USCIS.

The I-130 was not just recently filed. It is already approved.

To the OP, the I-129 could only help you now if a problem arises with your immigrant visa case. Otherwise, it would never catch up. I would just procede with your immigrant visa case.

No, because it will be waste of your time and money.
