...what about the other coffee places? I'm a Second Cup Barista extraordinaire, so I won't vote.... he he.
I will just say:
a- I am bored.
b- friends don't let friends go to St@rbux.
that said, I will sit and wait for the responses.
p.s. please behave yourselves - no name calling, bashing, and idiocy allowed

only mine.

I was a Starbucks regular when I lived in Texas, but it was mostly because I had no other choice!
Second Cup is definitely better... but I must say, I really enjoy Timothy's as well!

I'm sorry... but I'd have to go with my old standby...

My wife says second cup isn't very popular and Starbucks isn't that good. She reminded me we went to Second Cup in Montreal. We did like Coffee Time better than Tim's if you can believe it.

Blech, I hate Starbucks so I chose Second Cup. Though I prefer coffee shop coffee (e.g., Tim's, Country Style, etc.) versus cafe (e.g. Starbucks, Second Cup) coffee.

Starbucks would be better off called Charbucks. Yech! I've never tried Second Coffee but I'd be willing to...although IMHO it would be hard to find anything better than Tim's.

Mmmmmmm, has anyone had Second Cup's White Hot Chocolate? I swear I used all of the money on my meal card on those when I was at University!!!
I am a bit of a traitor now- I love the Carmel Frappucino from St@rbucks

Invalid poll -- should have had a choice for "neither".
Ch@rbux burns coffee both there and here.
Unfortunately, Second Cup actually lives up to its name--the beans used are second-rate.
IMO, Chomps (a Calgary chain whose "cash-cow" is desserts) makes far better coffee than either.

Well I'm partial to Second Cup because it is across the street from my finacee's place. Starbucks always seems like it has been in the pot a couple of hours too long.
In the states if you are looking for a decent cup of coffee try Dunkin Donuts. Every one I have ever been in has had good coffee.
TH is the best though.

I'm not a fan of Second Cup, and the only thing I like from Moonbucks is the chai they have, which is the only coffee place around work for a ten-block radius. (Yes, in Vancouver, believe it or not.)
However, I make up for that loss with the genuine Timmy Ho's in the college cafeteria.

Hmm, never even heard of Second Cup before. I don't particularly like Starbucks, but mostly because of their prices. I will go to Starbucks when I need to. Especially for a Green Tea latte either hot or iced.
