I just wanna ask if it happens to be the NVC who schedules an interview appointment..is it quicker compared to US consulate abroad giving the interview scheduling???

I've somewhere that if it is NVC, then it will be quicker..is there truth to it???

No truth. Not really anyway. Interview appointment scheduling is determined by availability of Consular Officers' time and varies by Consulate. NVC schedules for a few Consulates but there is no option for the petitioner or applicant to request it. The PI is not one of the Coutries on NVC's scheduling list.

Oh i thought PI is...since NVC requires Police certificate, Marriage, Cet, Birth Cert, Copy of Passport's Biographic Page etc, from the applicants...

So how would you know if a country is on NVC scheduling list?

Maybe I'm wrong about the PI. If so, somebody who knows will come along and correct me. The primary point is that it is not your option. NVC does it or they don't.

kINGSTON Embassy scheduled our interview. They give you the date. You will need the original copies of items for them and policce certificate. NVC doesn't need the police record or medical or originals of birth certificate and marriage. When JA received our case they told me 2 to 3 months for an interview.
