Full Version: What i should put in line 27 Part II of DS230?

My wife left the column empty on line 27 (Other Names Used or Aliases (If married woman, give maiden name)) of part 2 of DS230. We are little confused what we should use here. IS that my last name. her last name is different then mine on her passport and ever since I started process of Immigraiton we been using her last name in her record as I was told by USCIS agent. Whatever is in passport use that for now. Please fill me in on this or may be i should leave it blank?

The keyword is "used". If your wife ever used any other name, put it there. If she still uses her maiden name and was never known by or officially used any other name, write "none".
does she use your name at all? If not, then you don't have to put it there. If she does, then do!
If her maiden name is the only legal name she ever used (not talking bout the future here), then say none.
