Are you allowed to have someone give you a ride to the states when you move? My fiancee is worried that the border guards would think my parents were trying to get into the states. That couldn't be farther from the truth. I don't have a car and really don't want to just drive down there alone. Besides, I wanted to show my parents around.

I would say your best bet is to call the border office where you plan to cross. They're pretty helpful. I know there can be questions about proof of ties so have your parents bring them as a just in case.

I can't see it being a problem. My parents drove my son and I across the border at Buffalo back in June 2002. I told the border guard I was entering on a K1 and my son on a K2. The guy didn't even question my parents being in the vehicle, with my dad at the wheel. You could always call for peace of mind as already suggested.
