I am so happy your wife is here. STeve also came and he will recieve his green card in the Mail soon I hope but as far as his SS card we went to our Local SS office and asked for them to put him in the system they did and we got his card the next week in the Mail. So I am not sure. We also asked for one when he filled out his paperwork but when we got to the office they said they didnt have anything in there system it only took about 20 minutes and 5 days later he has his SS card. I hope that helps
God bless you

Social Security Card should take no more than 2 weeks once you go apply. The green card for my husband came in 3 to 4 weeks. First they (USCIS) will send a welcome letter telling her that they will be in touch or something to that effect. It will be on a notice like the petitions you applied for stating they received it. Shortly afterwards the actual green card comes.
That is for the CR1/IR1...The K1/K3 takes longer.

I'm trying to remember, but we had to go to the ss office and I think it arrived about 2 weeks after.
