I too am looking forward to seeing our checks cashed ... although that would probably not happen for another 2 weeks or so. People would think we're crazy to look forward to such an event.

As to your question about transferring people to CSC, they're still doing it. In my signature you will see a link to a post that has a running list of current CSC transferees.

Well, on my side still no touch since June 24. My husband's I-485 was last touch in 2005.

Have you all think that they might be looking to the old info just to compared with the new ones? that is what I think.

There's really no "new" info to compare back in January 2007 when they "touched" my old I-485 since I just mailed my I-751 last Aug 8.

My therory for what its worth, is I think we were all touched back in January, as most of our dates are near and they were looking at transferring them back to the relevant centres, like I presume mine went back to Newark or Vermont and when someone goes to hopefully approve my I-751 they will call for the file again, and again there I will receive a "touch"

Thats my thoughts of the matter anyhow!

Wonder how long they will take to send me a NOA seen as they have cashed the check????!

According to the latest update from USCIS, VSC has issued NOAs for applications received 8/02/07.

Isn't there some consumer protection law against cashing checks before the goods are shipped?

somehow I have a feeling that this doesn't apply for "fees" and that the government considers itself exempt anyway...

Interesting that your receipt date is also the date you sent your I-751. Does your NOA indicate if it was issued by VSC or if your file was transferred to CSC?

When you got your NOA, does it say that your green card has been extended for another year? Or will you get another notice for that one?

The post mark and on the NOA it says Vermont.

Also you can't check your online status until they write to you with you appointment for biometrics, that has certainly changed since I applied last time.

It says that it is extended for another year both to travel and work

From what I can see already it seems people who have filed at TSC stand a chance of being transferred, the VSC seem like they go into a hole, hopefully that will come out soon, no pattern with the other two service centres

In 2003, when we submitted our K-1 papers to CSC, VSC was the fastest centre and CSC the slowest.

Now that we're in NYC and will be sending our stuff to VSC, CSC is the fastest centre and VSC the slowest.

Don't want to interfere by editing the list, but as there are only four service centres wouldn't it be clearer to group them into fours on the list and list them by date order?

The vermont date I see didn't even move from Jan this year its been stuck there for a couple of months,,,typical

I read a thread on here someplace that someone had there NOA2 before there NOA1 out of intrest all those received and pending, can they look at there status online cos the NOA2 people on that thread said they can. I know I can't and on the letter the NOA1 I received said I wouldn't be able too until I had, had my fingerprints done.
