I did not get NOA yet... they returned my whole pacakge because I send them the wrong check amount..... I am so distracted!!!

I send the package back on october the 3rd... I just hope that I do not go back to the end of the line.... do anybody know if it should take time?

I am freaking out... I am planning to leave for Christmas holidays middle of december and I am wondering if I will have NOA and fingerprints in time for that....

Sorry to hear about your returned package. Unfortunately, the package you just sent back will be treated as a new application and get in line on the day they receive it again. Hopefully this time the receipting delay has reduced.

i'm pretty sure that you'll get your NOA1 before Christmas. It usually takes less than 2 months to receive that, and that's all you need to travel. good luck!

At least I'm happy that it was approved insted of touch, cause last one was in June 24 and since then not touch at all.

I went ahead and did a walk in on 10/23/2007. The original date for fp was 11/02/2007

I noticed that some of you posted "touched". Could you please tell me how do you determine that?

Edisheri, a touch is when your case online has the date change. For example if you go online to see how your case is going you will see the date next to the application that you submit. If the date changes is that they touch it, they could touch it everyday during the week. When they touch it, it means they are working on your case.

I can believe there was no email, they are really slow, I was approved in 2005 for advance parole, I only knew cos I received it in the post. No email No update, then around 2 weeks ago I received a email telling me I was approved in 2005 - the advance parole has long long since expired!

Yea, it sure got quiet all of a sudden.......hope our case files did not go up in smoke...

My case was in Missouri Service Center (NBC), but it was transferred to California Service Center.

I got my 10-year GC approval without interview, I guess because it was not "marriage" case, but it was a "adoption" case. Maybe that's why USCIS did not need to interview me and both my adoption parents.
