Being relative newlyweds, my wife and I are working on our budget and all that wonderful stuff. So we'd like to get an idea of upcoming costs so we can have the money ready...
We've already paid the $190 to DCF the I-130 in Toronto. In the packet we got back from Montreal, it mentions that there will be another fee of around $390 (or something like that). Are there any other fees kicking around besides the cost of our medical exam?
For example, reading the IR-1/CR-1 forum, it seems that going through the NVC means there's a $70 fee for the I-864. I've seen nothing in our documentation to suggest we will need to pay that. So I'm assuming DCF is not only faster, it's a little cheaper...
Anybody else have any experience with the costs involved?
My wife and I would really appreciate some help
