dgv76,

I don't know the answer to your question, but I've got a question for you - what evidence of having submitted an I-130 petition did you send with your I-129f petition?

Wow. Congrats!

You sent the I-130 on 5/11 and it got approved. Happy for you since some folks sent their i-130 in April and still no NOA1. Go VSC!

Yodrak,
Based on the dgv76's timeline, they used the NOA1 from I-130. It was received on 6/9, they sent I129F on 6/11. In the comments section, it even says they received NOA1 on 6/9 (so we know its not the received date stated on the NOA1, its the date they got it).

I send I-129F, fotos, copy of I-130 NOA1, G-325 and copy of marriage license, and check for $170

Well, you've got some options because you are one of the rare cases of an I-130 being approved before and separately from the I-129F. If I were in your shoes, I would pursue these NVC shortcuts for the CR1 visa process.

The K3 should come along without further input from you or your spouse until it gets to Russia.

Other than that, it's a race and you make further decisions based on how the race progresses.

I still can't answer your question, though - it's a matter of personal preferences and priorities.

Maybe two or three weeks. Time enough to get a good start preparing to use the shortcuts.

I only got an email from USCIS, no NOA2, so I don't really want to update my timelines right now.
