I feel like I have stepped into some strangers house.

I did notice a few immigrate2us members here. So here it goes.

I starting my morning off like I have been for a very long time. I check all my emails, I check my internet store for new offers, and I leave the best and worst for last... the USCIS website. As I typed in my user name and passcode I prepared myself to see the same old date.... 3-30-07......... Today it sure was different. I rubbed my eyes cause i thought iwas seeing things. There it was a new date. So I click on the eac number and this is what I found........

Receipt Number: EAC0----------------

Application Type: I601, APPLICATION TO WAIVE EXCLUDABILITY

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On June 19, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I601 APPLICATION TO WAIVE EXCLUDABILITY. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Oh my goodness. My man has been approved. I jumpped out of my chair and yelled and cried and cried some more. I wanted go to the immigrate2us site to tell all my 601er friends but it is down. So here I am. To let peeps know.

Our nightmare has ended. I have a bit of grief because three of my family members past away before seeing this processed finished.

But, life does go on and I am the happiest, proudist, STRONG LATINA in the world at this moment.

To see my timeline here it is. IT will be updated soon.

Hey PINKPIG~

I am so very happy about my mans approval. It really sucks that the immigrate2us is still down. I have been a faithful member since the very beginning of my journey...... I searched for other forums a couple of days ago and find this one.

As I mentioned in my message on top, I faithfully checked the USCIS website everyday twice a day since vermont rec'ved my husbands I-601 packet.

On the 19th of June, just before I went to bed I check the USCIS website to see if there had been any changes. NOTHING. So I went to bed stress wondering how long this whole process is going to take. Woke up about my normal time 5 or 530 in the am.. cause I never can sleep........ and checked my normal emails and websites... I went on over to the USCIS website and logged in to find out...... OH YEAH BABY... my man has been approved. I jumpped out of my chair and screamed, cried and cried and cried. My children woke up cause I was sooo loud. I had so much energy that I couldn't sit still and I had to go outside to breath... I phoned my family and told them the great news.

Anyhow... That is my little story. My timeline tells a little bit more about our process time. I have always felt that the people I called to check on things, never really knew much. Most everytime....... there was not one operater who said the samething...

*****We had been waiting for our I-601 for just a little over a year.

I can just see that smile on your face.

I loved reading your story of how you found out.

I agree there never seems to be any answers to any of the questions, except wait and wait some more.

All that is over now and you can make plans for the day when he comes home, hopefully it won't be long now.

Take care.

reynatejana
Well it is when we come home, you see we have never been apart.... All five of us have always been to gether
scroll
sorry, I knew that...slip of the fingers....LOLOLOLO

I should have said when you all come home together.....

Do you know when the I2us is going to be back up and running?
scroll
Marie emailed me earlier today and said that she would call the people that run the site today and see if she could get it worked out. I do not think she knows when it will be fixed.
reynatejana
Oh so you chat with Maria on a personnal level, Well if you can let me know when you hear word
scroll
I dont really chat with her on a personal basis.

I just emailed her to let her know that the site was down a few times through this mess. There have been times when they did not know it. I dont think that is the case now.

She told me that they tell her the problem is with the software and she is trying her best to do what they tell her to do to fix it ... but it does not seem to be working.

I do not know the ins and outs of the site and what is going on there.

I do know that Marie is working her butt off trying to get it fixed. I know that she is quite frustrated as we all are...

I will definitely let you know when the site is back up.
reynatejana
WoW!. I really hope that site gets back up and running. I also pray that the info isn't lost. There is some good information for anyone who ever comes across it. Besides all my post are there.

I am making a scape book of all of my hard work with this immigration process and I want to print out all my posts.

Anyhow.. take care and I am still glowing!!!!!

PS, who else is here?

I do not know who all is here from I2.

I know that many are on the juarez discussion site where your announcement was originally posted and I found it.

I feel confident that it will be back up...there is just way too much information there for folks having to file waivers.
scroll
I just got this email message from Marie:

"Hey peggy, will you let people know that I am calling them and we are trying to fix ISSUES one at a time. I won’t stop until the site works like it is SUPPOSED to. "

So Marie is working to get I2US up and running. I have been getting different error messages through out the day today.

This forum is wonderful but I2US has so many people from around the world that need to file waivers and have no other place to go and so I hope I2 recovers very soon.

OMG Sweetie!!!!!!!! I know you have waited a LONG LONG time for this!!! Congratulations!!!!!!

Congratulations reyna. I am an I2USer too, although I don't post a lot. I'm glad to know it is not my connection. I was receiving a banned message and emailed and the reply was that no one was banned and to try again. Glad I'm not going crazy. It's kinda funny, because I feel like I really need it now, since my finace's interview is on July 19 and I'm sooo not ready.

Cingratulations!
My husband I212 was approved end of march. USC said everything was sent to the embassy we just have towait for his packet. After 3 months of waiting my husband went to the embassy and found out that they have not receive anything yet. The lawyers are telling us that they will call and write to find out what going on.

I2US is back up....and running very fast....they still have a ton of tweaking to do but....
