I have all the documents on the checklist, and the I129f, in original form.

Should I also bring a photocopied version of the packet?

NOTE:
We already mailed the consulate, per their request, a copy of all the paperwork on the checklist, and it is exactly what we are going to bring tomorrow.

ALSO:
Once you have your interview, what paperwork does the consulate keep, if any?

Thanks!!

The Consulate isn't supposed to keep any new information, but they of course can. If you have any question whether or not you should bring something or make copies of other stuff, I say do it, because the last thing you want to have happen is they need more information. Good luck!

fedekat,

The consulate will keep all of the documentation that you submit for the interview, unless you submit something that they do not want and have not asked for. Plan on them keeping everything that was on the checklist and make a photocopy beforehand for your own future reference.
