Hi all,

The good news is that I received the I-864/I-864A/I-134 from my in-laws today, and they will be couriered to the London Embassy tommorow. My only fear is that there may be some random mistake on them I haven't picked up on - I was just wondering if anyone knews what happens if there is a mistake? Will the Visa be denied or will they simply send back another letter stating what needs to be done?

Visa wont be denied, they will just give slip indicating what needs to be supplied.

As for affidavit of support. CR-1/IR-1 uses the I-864, and K-1, K-3 uses the I-134.

The instruction letter included in the packet sent you by the embassy will spell out exactly what is needed to be returned to them, the rest is brought to the interview.

Thanks for the reassurance - I don't know why the Consular Officer wanted me to send in both the I-864A and the I-134 for my Mother-in-Law (who is a household member to the co-sponsor, my Father-in-Law), but as he asked for it, I got her to include it for me.

Good luck to you both! Here's hoping you both get that green PENDING in the UK thread changed to a big red APPROVED soon. good.gif
