What are people experience with the accuracy of the NVC automated system. Has there been a lot of cases where the NVC has your case but the automated system has no record of it? It seems impossible to talk to a live person, they're always busy and the system wont let you wait, just boots you out! very annoying.

The automated system will not have a record of K1s. You need to speak to an operator to get any information. Try phoning early in the morning or around midnight (eastern time). Yes, they do answer calls that late.

no0pb.gif K1s don't stay at the NVC long enough to make it to the automated system.

What about emailing them? Is it the same way, or better to call them?

It's alwasy better to call since you can get your answer right away. The suggestion is to call very early in the morning and/or very late at night. They are open from 7:30AM-midnight EST.
