We have a couple of K2 who are age 9 and 11. The VJ guides for obtaining a SSN state that an EAD is required for K2. I need a SSN for them in order to get them included in my health insurance. So what is the procedure for obtaining a SSN if an EAD is required for a foreign born child who is obviously too young to work?

There is no procedure... Your health plan should have a work around for those people who do not qualify for an SSN

Observation: This post does not ask about working prior to becoming a LPR, it asks about needing an SSN for insurance purposes.
