Lana Rascoe
Well the time has finally arrive for me to leave to go to the airport to fly to Montreal for my K3 interview for Monday.
I never thought the day would finally arrive. It has been a long journey since Sept 2006.

To all of you waiting for your interview, your day will come, I have been there just waiting, waiting and waiting. But the day will finally arrive.
I will post my visa interview experience when I return.

Thanks to all the VJ members who have answered my questions, I wouldn't know what to do without this website and the help from others.
I am sure I will have more questions when I apply for AOS and EAD.

Wish me luck!!

Up on arrival at the front door of the Cosulate is there a certain line to wait in

When I arrived at the consualte way back in Dec 2004 (was uphill tothe consulate and back to the hotel, no electricity, and NO grumpy lady on the phone) There was no huge line up at 0730, just one line. I think I was #4, BUT thanks to people having back packs, electronics, I moved up in line!! Once inside, handed the serious looking security dude my passport and interview letter, then went through airport like security, then led down stairs!! Sat for a bit,and I think around 0800 the elevators were set in operation. Thanks to our GREAT cassie I knew to goto the back of the elevator! The rest (suckers) all hung out at the front!! poor silly me sat at the back! Oh wait, i wasnt silly, the back doors opened, lol Best of luck!!

I am not sure I can be credited with initially alerting my fellow Montreal interviewees about the crazy elevator, but it cracks me up now to see that's how fellow VJ'ers ID each other at the interview LOL I just remember making a beeline for the back of the elevator and turning around. LOL I am sure people thought I was nuts until the door opened. whistling.gif
