SanFrancisco-BKK
I am not sure this the right forum but...

With the K1 visa approved and final move to California scheduled for the end of the months I am looking for any final advice.

We will be entering in San Francisco. Is there any documents, translations, etc. will be helpful to expedite the next steps: SSN, ability to work and travel etc.

Any ideas, guides are greatly appreciated.

Be prepared and pack your visa-savvy and a strong, confident attitude. SFO can be a bunch of bastards. I'm sure they are fine when you have the right information, but just make sure all ducks are in a row first.

My wife had no problems with the immigration folks at SFO. Maybe they took pity on her as she had a 2-year old in tow in addition to all her luggage.

Yes,

Every time I return from BKK to SFO they send me to a special deck for thorough interview: where did you go, how long, etc, etc, etc. I am always carrying my photos, applications, and other documents to support my story.
