well here's a update...

I called DOS again right now.. She said.. The interview is passed.. the Security name check was cleared at washington.. She said that they COULD send it for another security check... BUT she saw NO point for it since it passed the First time.. SO she gave me a number to call Cairo Embassy and see what the hold up is.. She said there is NOTHING more to do than JUST STAMP THE VISA!!!!!!!!!!

This is the number that she gave me... 20 2 27 97 33 00

I am still in a little shock today ,but all I can say is keep the faith and your day will come too! MY fiancé was told 1-2 months at his interview and so I guess Cairo is trying to keep its word. I wish you all luck

I also kindly ask for prayers for my fiancé's father who is being tested for a possible cancer. So far, so good, but I know he's not out of the woods yet.

Alhamdulillah....its so great to see how many egyptian's are coming here. There were only a few of us when I first started my whole process.

Nouna told me their security check were done on May 4th.. and now they are waiting to get stamped

You asked what's been going on with my case - yesterday an official from the embassy showed up at my husbands apartment building and questioned everyone that was there. I think things when well. My husband was called at work by his sister and said there was someone there from the embassy so he left work and when he arrived they were all laughing and the man was drinking tea and eating cake. My husband showed him pictures of our reception and honeymoon. All seemed well. About 1 1/2 hours later, the man called my husband and verified the marriage date, etc.

My husband was to have his 2nd interview today, but the man yesterday told him not to go. Soooooooooo I think we have to be soooo close to being done. It's been so hard waiting as others had been approved around the time that my husband kept getting more RFE's.

One thing I did learn, at the interview, my husband brought tons of papers. The Officer said he didn't want to see anything. Make them look - sit on him if you have to, but make sure he sees your photos, etc. If my husband would have done this, I am certain that we would not have to wait as long as we have.

Dose any one know what is going on with these case's? I never read any thing from them? and there interviews were so long ago.

micky was here a while ago saying that her new case (the cr-1) was approved by the nvc so technically they still need an interview.

Haven't heard from ashkia but now I'm wondering if picatue is her husband? Since she has a baby and his wife has a baby?

no clue who gotmeahunk is.

Ashkia's husband was interviewed last August, Picatue was interviewed in Feb. so I don't think they're the same person.
