I am in Shenzhen visiting my wife and we just found out her interview date is July 9th now we are waiting for the P-4 to get here.
Can someone tell me where to stay in Guz when we go for interview?

OK a few things,

If you have not found or joined "A Candle for Love" http://candleforlove.com DO THAT NOW, it is the best place to study and prepare for the gauntlet of the Guangzhou consulate.

I highly recommend contacting Mr Yang, in Guangzhou, he has several in-expensive apartments for rent in TianYu building the same complex that the Immigrations section of the us consulate is located in. Mr Yang will also give advice on paperwork preparation, and interview preparations.

It is best to have your SO call him and arrange a room.

We payed 200RMB ($25) per night for a private room with a double bed, a bargain compared to regular hotel prices.

One other thing, if P4 does not arrive, you the US citizen can visit the consulate the friday before the interview after 2:00 PM for American Citizen's Hour, and ask questions, and get a replacement P4 packet with a copy of the invitation letter, we did that to have extra forms to fill out in case of errors on the first set.

They said the P-4 will be mailed out this week, is there anyway to track it I assume they send it EMS. I wont be here for the interview I have to go back before the date gets here.

Great news, Rick. My wife and many others were very happy they stayed at one of Mr. Yang's apartments. I would have your wife contact them soon to make certain she can book the room. They'll also escort her and assist with paperwork for the medical, if needed.
