When mailing in my past 3 years Tax Transcripts with my I-864 do I need to include or provide the past three W2?

we had to send in the W2s as well. They looked at them during my interview, to determine in a quick way if the requirements were met. You should send copies of them, or at least the last one.

With tax transcripts, no W2's are needed. With tax returns, they are.

I suggest you consult the form instructions and then use a dictionary to find the definition of "or". Also notice W2's are not mentioned. Neither are 1040's. It's tax transcripts or tax returns. The return includes the W2. An IRS tax transcript is the preferred side of the "or".

I suspect you haven't seen any MORE answers because you have your answer already.

Simple!
If you have the W2s send copies. Doesn't hurt.
If you only have the most recent years W2s send them/it!
More ammo the better!
If you don't have any W2s send them also!! HUH???

More replies - READ THE SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS on the I-864, you are safer reading the instructions than the five different oppinions on here. Look at step 25 of the instructions. SAFEST BET IS TO SEND IN 3 TRANSCRIPTS, next is to have 3 PHOTOCOPIES OF PAST TAX RETURNS WITH THEIR ASSOCIATED W-2's. Law states that you only need one year, but from experience, consulars do their own thing and its best to be conservative and send in an overkill. SEND 3 Years and 3 years of W-2's. If you lost your W-2's, contact the IRS via web page or toll free number and request transcripts, you will have them in about 2 weeks. When my wife and I applies, we had transcripts, tax returns, w-2's, letter from bank manager of my deposits for the last year, and letters from my employer. Guess what, they asked for some of it.
