In Brazil we receive the passport with the visa after 2 days, sometimes 1. How does it work in Jamaica? Don't they return your passport right after? How does it work there?

Ebony I know how you feel it took almost a month for ours to come. If you get a chance today, call the Embassy and see if they can give you some info.

Nessa is right. We were told my husband was approved once the 5 minute interview was over. Then we were told to return at 3 p.m. - two days later.

what are the other options besides sending the visa to the post office, can you go back to the embassy to pick it up, or have it delivered to the consular office in Mo bay?

Agreed!!!! It should take two weeks at the most, this is absolutly appalling, they have no respect for people, thank god u didn't buy his plane ticket.
Is there an option of going back to the embassy and picking it up directly from the embassy?

My wait was just short of a month as well and yes I was pissed vexed and everything in between

I waited until we had the visa in hand before we got the ticket.... We still ended up paying a much higher fee being that his departure was under 14 days.
