mystery
Hello. I'm presently awaiting for my wife's AOS to be approved. I'm estimating for her to get her Residency somewhere around Sept-Nov 07.

Here's the thing, my mother-in-law is sick and we would like to bring her here to the US as soon as possible. What do you guys recomend I do?? Which is the quickest way to bring her here?? Just apply for a Tourist Visa, even though my wife's AOS still has not been approved??

Thank you for your help.

Sounds like you want her to immigrate to the US?

Your wife must first naturalise, she can then sponsor her mother to immigrate to the US.

I would say it would take 5 years from now for her to enter, assuming the current regulations remain the same.

Visitor Visa is a seperate issue, all depends on ger individual situation, ties to Colombia etc neccesitating her return.
