Besides evidence of the emergency, what else would I need to bring? Would I need to bring a cheque payable to immigration and new pictures for my AP, cause I'm assuming they will be giving it to me that day if I am approved. Can someone please help? Thanks.

You need to bring two photos, fill out a new I-131 and your NOA that you've already applied for it and it is pending. As you've already applied for it the NOA serves as proof that you have paid and should not be required to pay again.

I was in the Phoenix office last month and they told me if I went down the emergency AP route, I WOULD be required to pay again, and they would only issue emergency AP for a single visit, not multiple. Don't know if this is true in all offices.

I collected my emergency AP today, did not have to pay and have it for multiple visits. Perhaps it depends on your emergency.
