I have gotten mixed responsed regarding bringing a minor child in with the wife seperate i130s??. Not sure if it is a requirement. Or only if you are going the CR1 route do you have to have this, it just seems strange to fill out an i130 for a child 2 years old.

Also for a k3 do you have to do a g325a for the child seperate? Seperate passport fotos and passport for the child as well??

I really appreciate your help

jimmynuetron,

Each and every alien relative needs to have an approved I-130 petition to immigrate to the USA. What's strange is that fiance(e)s and their children do not.

The form instructions tell you who needs a G-325A - RTFM.

Whether a separate passport is required for a 2 year-old child depends on the laws of the country that would be issuing the passport.
