This is great news. But with short notice makes it hard to digest. My fiancee lives in Sudan not in Cairo. So she has to get a visa to Egypt, book a flight in 2 days ( very difficult given summer season) and be in Cairo by Sunday. On the other hand, I was planning to attend ( Embassy okeyed it ). This means I also need to book a flight for this Saturday to get there on Sunday! I don't know whether they will let me be physically with her during the actual interview. Does anyone has any idea? Any advise?!
Thanks.

Well all she will do is go up to a window. It's not like you sit in a room behind closed doors. From what I've read on here, no you will not be able to stand next to her but like I said she will only be behind a window talking to someone on the other side for all of 5 to 10 minutes or so.

Congrats on getting it booked in such a short time!!! I really am having high hopes for Cairo. 2 weeks...that's gotta be a world record!!! In the past people have waited between 2 and 3 months to get an interview!!! kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif

Yes medical and police clearance were done. I think it happen so quickly because I sent them an email about how it was very inconvenient for my fiancee to make the visa payment only in Cairo. May be they thought she is in Cairo now and wanted to reward her for following their rules!
