The strangest thing happened to me with the kingston embassy. We emailed the embassy for a date to pick up packet #3 because it was taking forever. They told me that the pkg was mailed May 1st and that my fiance would be able to pick up pkg #3 June 28th ( which is his birthday). Then someone else emailed me back saying that he could pick it up pkg #3 July 3rd @ 1:30pm. He eventually recv'd the pkg on May 30th and we turned in the DS-230 form immediately after (reached embassy June 4). Do you all think that I should send another email requesting that the July 3rd appointment be considered for the interview date? I figured it was worth a shot since it is already penciled in as an appointment. Or, should I just let them go ahead and schedule a new date for the interview as they normally would?

Yeah HMMMM is the exact phrase that I thought when this all happened. I totally agree with you about messing with their dates and screwing up everything so I think that I am going to wait. Things happen for a reason and I'm just going to hold out a little longer and we will go Ton the date that is given to us in pkt#4. My theory is that I don't want to rush things if I don't have to.
