Hi all,

Since approval of my I-130 i've kinda lost myself with the process of the I129F, i just had anohter look at the guides for the process of the K-3... Am i right in saying after the I129F is approved, there's really no more for the petitioner to do? Because it goes to NVC then NVC to embassy and the rest is done there... reason i'm asking is i'm not sure if its safe to bring my wife over to the uk incase there will still be forms she needs to send to NVC after I129F is approved... I mean if she's here oviously she won't have any knowledge of letters arriving at our house in the US...

That is correct. The petitioner would need to bring everything you would need for your interview but as long as you are the agent of record and the I-130 NVC correspondence will go to you in the UK, there is no reason the USC needs to remain in the US.

Actually she would need to bring the Affidavit of support and letter from employer and paystubs, W2s etc with her if she plans to stay in the UK until your Consular interview.

Tell her to bring what you need for the interview with her to the UK. I plan on going to India in August -- hopefully the petition will be in India by then :-/
