I am so new to this please don't laugh when I ask this question but what does touch mean in your timeline?

when you sign up for the uscis online updates to see how your petition's going, sometimes there's no change in the case and it just shows up online as still pending.. BUT the date that your file was last updated changes... that's a touch. someone has touched your file. that's all

doesn't always mean anything, but makes you happy =)
