We have not a hardcopy of NOA1 yet. We filed on May 8. Lately, our case was touched twice (Aug 22 and Aug 23) I do not what think, if the touches are because my NOA1 comes or probably the NOA2? I prefer the second option, itīs better... hahaha
We are also waiting anxiously since May 3rd...the touches are at least encouraging!!! 
we got our NOA2.. approved Aug. 23... still waiting for hard copy.. im so happy!!!

With an exception of those lucky enough to file at VSC, you are looking at at least 3 months before an approval from the CSC. I got my NOA1 on January 29 and my NOA2 on May 24 just to give you an idea. Use the time you are waiting to gather important documents you will need at the interview stage and relax! Against the advice of a friend I drove myself nuts on checking my USCIS case status online! lol Good luck to all of you on your journey!
This helps me out. The CSC received our petition May 2; NOA1 received May 10; and am anxiously awaiting the NOA2...it was disappointing to hear the CSC was having computer difficulties...still hoping for a visa prior to Christmas.
VSC has been taking three-ish months now too.

Itīs the same case with us. We filed on May 8 and no hard copy of the NOA1. Many people are in the same problem, I think it is due to problem with the sistem who print the NOAs... I hope it no cause delays in get our NOA2... Good luck
