Thanks Everyone and I am so glad to hear my husbands voice so happy. I asked him to explain in an email so that I can post just incase anyone happens to run into this. I am very thankful that the CR1 arrived in Amman when it did and that we got the interview date so soon and God Willing will have the visa within the week.
Ok all the talk about rain and sitting here in Central Cali it is overcast, windy and looking like it wants to rain. Not sure if it is good or bad at least it is not muggy so I can deal with it.

Was your I130 approval received before they initiated the ruling that you have to file an additional form and pay an additional fee in order for it to be forwarded to the NVC for further processing? If so you are darn lucky!

In order for the I-130 to process at the NVC level you must pay the IV processing fee. There is no fee for the petition to be forwarded to the NVC.

That process was changed a few months ago. Now if you want your I130 to go to the NVC you have to file a I-824
form and pay an additional $200. That is what is written on the NOA2 I received for my I130 anyways.

I don't remeber having to pay any other fee's so maybe we where lucky. You can read my time line as I posted everything

Believe me if they would of asked for more money I woiuld have put on my time line

I am still unsure if the security checks where done before the CR1 was forwarded to Amman cos I called Dos on the K3 case and they said security checks still processing. I just laughed and hung up. I didn't even want them to look at the CR1 case. I will call after I know that he has the visa in hand and see what they say.
Prena so glad that he is with you and adjusting so well.

a big CONGRATS to Angie and Julianna, Angie it seems like this whole process went pretty smoothly for you and thank goodness its going to be over soon

I know of a couple of good halal groceries in Fresno if you need some info.
Today I found out I am having a girl

and she looks just as healthy as can be (just a little tiny bit nervous about that as I am over 35 so the risks certainly increase) but things look great and we are SO excited
Happy Tuesday everyone!

aww that's so awesome!!!!! When do they do all those icky tests so that you can finally breath easy about the over 35 thing? That's one thing I'm dreading for when and if I get pregnant again. That amnio needle scares the heebie jeebies outta me!

they did it for me at 19 weeks, but I was able to avoid the amnio because I did the elaborate blood test and the very detailed ultrasound, they sent me to the regional childrens hospital for the ultrasound. Fortunately for me both of these indicators came back completely normal. If there had been anything unusual then I would have had to do amnio and believe me I was TOTALLY dreading it if I had to, so I was really relieved that its all fine

That is a very big relief!!! A coworker of mine is 42 and pregnant and she said they scared her so much about being over 35 but thank God she and baby are just fine at 7 months pregnant.
