My husband's interview is now officially (since it's after midnight..lol) six days away. I leave on Friday to join him in Delhi for the interview and to also hopefully bring him home with me within the week. The person at the Embassy said that if, no--because I belive in the power of positive thinking and prayer--WHEN he is approved, we may be able to pick up the passport with the visa the same or following day. That would make me SOOO happy.

Hubby and I both have a mixture of sheer terror, anxiety and excitement all bundled into one emotional ball. Based on how things have been going lately at the various Consualtes in India, you never know when you will walk away with a 221g or a visa. Everything seems to be a crap shoot even when you have everything in order.

What did you do to stay sane whil you waited (or are waiting) for your SO's interview? I've been cleaning, I've been working like crazy at the office and with my business trying to prepare for yet another journey to India. Mostly though, I've been praying. I keep bouncing between being very strong in my faith and KNOWING that God already has this taken care of for us and that all will be well. Then I have those days where I'm just a walking body of anxiety and I'm questioning everything. So I'm welcoming any creative ways of staying sane for the next six days. Good luck and many blessings to everyong on this journey.

All the best for the upcoming interview... and everything will be alright for you...
Think about the majority of them who are not doing research as much as you do... and you are much prepared than most of them...

All the emotions are natural before the interview, even my guy who was cool as a cucumber started to get somewhat nervous 5-6 days before the interview. wacko.gif Only thing I can advise is to KEEP BUSY, which you are already doing! I kept busy with office work and did a lot of mental gymnastics, planning what action I would take in different outcome situations (visa granted or not) so I gained a bit of peace of mind. Trying to clear the mind, praying or saying mantra also helps. Knowing all is in HIS hands so whatever outcome, is meant to be, even if it is something we have to fight! laughing.gif

Our thoughts & prayers are with you for a smooth journey & successful interview! good.gif yes.gif
