Hey Guys

Before I start, thanks for a great site, great forum and tons of help !

I arrived in the U.S. on K3 Non Immigrant, and filed for my EAD.
USCIS send me a form acknowledging the receipt of my payment and filing.
However, I am confused as to what to do next.

On the form it states the following:

The next step is to have your biometrics taken, if required, at a US Citizenship and Immigration Service Application Support Center.
It lists then what will be done there, and what I must bring, at also that only after they receive the biometrics, will it take from
60-180 days to process my case.

What do they mean with "IF REQUIRED". Do I have to do this, or not ?

I am sorry if this sounds dumb, I might be reading this wrong. I just do not want to make any mistakes.

It seems that every time I think I am a step closer, I get a letter stating, MORE FORMS, MORE MONEY WANTED !

It just never ends. It is so frustrating :-(

Anyway.. I hope someone can shed some light on this !

Thank you !!

Did you got NOA!, where they said they accepted your fee and started process? If so next they will send you appointment letter when and where your biometrics will happen. You dont have to break your head about this.
P.S. You didnt apply for Adjustment for status?
